Somehow believable throughout despite the extreme methods of exacting revenge. Which makes it even more chilling.

I loved it.
What are the chances that a free book on can be any good? In the case of Drivers, extremely high! I was in no way prepared for how well this book was written, and the pace soon made it virtually impossible to put down. For me, one of the signs of a good book is how it sounds in your head as you read, and in this case I had a vaguely Scottish brogue inside the first three pages. I immediately felt like I had been transported to a gritty neighbourhood and was gripped by the shady characters of the underworld and the lives of those that they impacted. The characters seem to develop incredibly strong personas without an obsessive attention to detail and never knowing which way things were going to turn, I read this from start to finish before I knew it.
I'll definitely be reading more Peter Carroll books in the future.

good transaction-received in timely matter
Fairly good story but I'm from the USA and the repetition of the word "wee" in this story made me want to throw my e-reader against the wall. Totally distracted from the story.
I found the book jumped around a bit, it was somewhat hard to follow at times. That said, it was a good read.
