Book 3Releasrd…A tale of treacheryCharles Knight was Dr.David Raydon’s brother and his first performer 20 yrs ago. Where David brought out the good in people, Charles naturally brings out the bad and depravity in people. Charles was banned from the Vagabond Circus yrs ago. At a time when evil had destroyed Dr.Raydon’s beloved circus. Being Daivid’s brother, Charles now owned the majority share and Titus being Dr Raydon’s partner with a holding of 45% of the Circus.
Mr. Knight had driven onto the circus grounds with big black trucks, the man himself had to be 7ft tall wiry and pale. Like he had never seen the sun. Mr Knight’s eyes were cruel and cold. Sabasten the boy Dave had taken in and who had ran away after the tragedy struck was there standing beside this hateful man along with a smaller redheaded girl named Gwen they were Knight’s enforcers and eyes, both very creepy. At the meeting he marched in two rows sad looking children all wearing black t-shirts looking down at the ground , there had to be at least 40 of them. They didn’t speak or look up. Mr.Kight forbid any of the Circus folks from speaking or interacting with “his children” in any way.
Mr.Knight was going to change up the show. Where it was light and airy it was now spooky and heavy. There was drinking and fighting among the Vagabond Circus family, things were going on that Dave would never have allowed. Ian, the crew had had told the performers that they had to stay for the greater good. Ian was never wrong and he had a good reputation so very one listened to him. Knight would plague those who disobeyed him with horrible headaches. They had to play along for now even though everything in them told them to run. No one was happy except maybe Padmal, because she was able to talk Knight into letting them juggle with sharp ice sickles, something Dave had shot down when it was first mentioned. She hated Dave for taking her and her brothers out of the orphanage. She just knew her mother would come back for her some day, but her adoration for Mr.Kinght will be short lived. The performers all felt helpless and miserable. Finley was keeping his distance from Zuma and the others to protect them from the wrath of Knight. Knight would find who or what you loved and he would hurt or destroy them in order to control.
There is a small core group that were planning on getting rid of Knight, Gwen & Sebastian. They just had to keep the Legacy alive of what Dr.Raydon had created they had to take the Circus back.
Fanny had tossed a huge secret. It changed everything in the way Mr. Knightly believed to be true. It made Finley’s life even worse for a time. All hope was not lost. Even though there had been several deaths under Mr. Knights leadership.

Like all good things... This too must come to an end. But what a magnificent end to a series indeed. This circus has been a ride unlike any other - darkly mysterious and yet with a touch of eternal optimism. I am sad to say goodbye to this cast of characters, but isn't that the way when an author rips out your heart.

Sarah Noffke never fails to disappoint and the Vagabond Circus series is phenomenal!
I can't recall the last time I was so enamored with a book. With each book I have grown to love this series more and more. Even the characters you want to hate you cannot help but be invested in their fates. So many times I found myself on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, shrieking, cheering, and feeling every other emotion under the sun.
Released , Releaved, Revived. 3 words. Simple but effectively describe how I feel after reading this final installment in the Vagabond Circus.
I am awed at the talent of Mrs. Noffke. How she continuously come up with this wonderful stories and incredibly complex characters baffles me.
I was spun on my head several times during this book. Like a perfectly matched performance we dance right along and here come the first twisted ankle. The rope kinks and you are not where you thought you were. No one was safe in this war. We lost friends and discovered new ones. It's hard to say goodbye to my favorites freaks and crew.
The end was poetic and gave you the closure you long for when saying goodbye to friends.

The book continues with Knight in charge of the circus. He reigns his terrors upon all of the Vagabond Circus. Loyalties will be tested and consequences will be paid. All the major players are back with vengeance and limits will be tested. It will take you for a ride and closes the series out with a bang. It is a must ride for everyone who needs a little magic in their life.
I fell in love with this series from the first page and my love affair continued to the last page. The writing has been spectacular and the story has been fast paced. The characters were lovable and keep you engaged and interested the entire time. I can't get over the magic of the Vagabond Circus. I want to live there with everyone. I feel a certain connection to Sunshine. I always liked her but I feel like you get a better a connection with her now. I found that I just love her. Even though I still love Dave, Sunshine is my new favorite. She is just so real and straight to the point. I feel like you get know more about most of the characters. They are all special and strong in their own ways. I will miss them terribly and will probably dream of Finley tonight.
I know must say goodbye to these characters that continue to touch my life and mind. My favorite line was 'Two men were in the big top and only one would walk out'.
My first goodbye is to Titus. Goodbye Titus you were strong when you needed to be and I applaud your courage.
Goodbye Oliver. I will miss your loyalty and optimism. You were brave and patient. I will value your patience and I plan on using more patience in my daily activities.
Goodbye Fanny. Oh you are just a pure soul. I will miss your nurturing nature. I will miss your sweet words that give strength to everyone around you.
Goodbye Ian. You made great sacrifices to save others. I will miss you and your riddles.
Goodbye Padmal. I will miss your irritating self. You made me so mad all the time but I liked to hate you
Goodbye Jazmine. You always had great advice and that extra nudge to achieve greatness. You lived by the words you spoke and I plan on doing the same.
Goodbye Dave. Your spirit and kindness is daily reminder that I could always improve and bring happiness to those around me.
Goodbye Jack. You continue to prove people wrong which is incredible. It never mattered what your parents or siblings say you made a decision to join the circus and become a terrific man. Your inner strength is enough to inspire many people.
Goodbye Zuma. I will miss you so much. You were just a sassy thing and I got to watch you turn in to an amazing woman. I admire you and wish I had more time with you. I will never forget your pink streak and white hair.
Goodbye Finley. Oh geez I loved you from the start. You came from such a tortured past and overcame everything. You are the ultimate hero and a role model. I miss you and hope to read about you in another series because I don't really think I could ever fully say goodbye.
Goodbye Sunshine. I think you changed the most. I watched you grow in to a inspiring woman. I feel like you were overlooked and really just got a chance to shine. You will be a sun in my mind for years to come.
Goodbye Vagabond Circus. You have gave me hours of pleasure and many jaw dropping moments. I will never forget you and your magic will always live in my heart.
